Wound care Subscription
Wound care practitioners are invited to apply to the Mölnlycke Health Care Wound Academy scholarships and awards 2009.There are two £1,500 scholarships (categories: novice practitioner and experienced practitioner) and two £1,500 awards (categories: individual practitioner and team).Applications for the individual award are via peer nomination.
TEVA leadership award Subscription
Applications are invited for the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association TEVA leadership award.The award recognises excellence in leading change in an area of healthcare pharmacy at any level of practice. The winning individual/team will receive £1,500 for leadership development.
Academic excellence Subscription
The University of Brighton and the University of Nottingham schools of pharmacy have each received an Academic Excellence Award from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (November 2008).Each winning school of pharmacy will receive a grant to fund a PhD project.
Dignity in care award Subscription
Nominations are being sought for the People’s Award for Dignity in Care, launched by the Department of Health on 10 November 2008.
IT award Subscription
Applications are invited for the First Databank Europe/Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists/United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association Information Technology award 2009.
Applications sought for awards in 2009 Subscription
Applications are invited for four awards to be presented at the joint conference of the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association and the Guild of Healthcare Pharmacists, to be held in Leicester on 15–17 May 2009. The closing date for applications for the TEVA leadership award is 15 February 2009.
The winners of the 2008 Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacists Group/Mandeville Medicines prize in paediatric and neonatal pharmacy have been announced.
