Royal College of Pharmacy elections 2026: Adebayo Adegbite
Candidate for the National Pharmacy Advisory Council for England

Adebayo is a community pharmacist with almost 30 years’ experience in community pharmacy, having worked both as an employee pharmacist manager and as a locum pharmacist.
His breadth of pharmacy practice experience spans across small, medium and large chain community pharmacies, both independent and multiple owned.
Adebayo has been a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) English Pharmacy Board for the past four years and has been both an RPS Assembly member and the RPS’s Commonwealth Pharmacists Association representative for the past two years. As an active member of the RPS Assembly, Adebayo has been instrumental in laying the foundations of our future Royal College of Pharmacy and would like to be able to continue contributing his experience in this as a member of the inaugural English Pharmacy Advisory Council.
He is an active member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation, UK Black Pharmacist Association, The Pharmacists’ Defence Association, Primary Care Pharmacy Association and The Pharmacist Cooperative, as well as a volunteer with the charity SmellTaste.
