Candidate for the National Pharmacy Advisory Council for England

I obtained my Pharmacy degree from Sunderland Polytechnic (University) in 1985. Serving as president of Sunderland Pharmaceutical Students Association and treasurer of the British Pharmaceutical Students Association.

I worked for 18 years at Boots the Chemist, holding a variety of pharmacist, store and area management positions. After two five-year management positions at Lloyds Pharmacy and Murrays Healthcare, I established the independent Donnington Pharmacy, which I purchased in 2018.

I have served on several local pharmaceutical committees, also as a primary care network lead pharmacist. In 2021, I was honoured by Queen Elizabeth II with the British Empire Medal for services to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, I am completing an independent prescriber course.

Outside pharmacy, I serve as a local councillor and a member of the Joint Health and Social Care scrutiny committee.

As a Mancunian, I am a Manchester United fan, hoping the glory days return soon!
