Royal College of Pharmacy elections 2026: Sarah Brown
Candidate for the National Pharmacy Advisory Council for Wales

Sarah is a community pharmacist with over 25 years’ experience working in Wales, alongside roles in research and education. Since qualifying, she has worked in both independent and multiple community pharmacy settings and remains connected to patient care and pharmacy team working.
Alongside practice, Sarah works as a post-doctoral researcher in applied psychology and population health, with a focus on health communication, shared decision‑making and supporting the real-world use of medicines. Her work is shaped by listening to and collaborating with patients, healthcare professionals and stakeholders, and by a strong belief that policy should be evidence-driven, practical, inclusive and achievable in busy practice environments.
Sarah contributes to professional committees, including Pharmacy Research Wales, and as a reserve member of the General Pharmaceutical Council Investigating Committee. She brings a collaborative approach to leadership that values and supports the pharmacy workforce, and ensures decisions reflect the experiences and needs of pharmacy teams and patients.
