Royal College of Pharmacy elections 2026: Stacey Middlemass

Hi, I’m Stacey. I work as co-head of training and development at Core Prescribing Solutions, supporting pharmacy teams in primary care across the UK.

I am an independent prescribing pharmacist with over a decade of experience across various pharmacy settings, supervising and delivering training for a range of primary care staff: independent prescribers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacy technicians, GP registrars, health and wellbeing teams, physician associates and community pharmacy teams. My areas of clinical interest are chronic pain management, anticoagulation and minor Illness.

I’ve completed various clinical qualifications as my career has progressed: MPharm with distinction, independent prescribing, managing minor illness in first contact care and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Core Advanced Portfolio. I currently chair the RPS primary care pharmacy expert advisory group.

My passion is learning, upskilling and sharing knowledge to help clinicians work to the best of their ability to improve patient outcomes.
