As president since 2021 it has been my privilege to influence the healthcare environment, shaping the future of pharmacy and making sure our members are supported to deliver the highest possible standards of care.

As professor of Social Pharmacy at University of Nottingham with a career in pharmacy spanning five decades and six continents, I bring gravitas, credibility, and authenticity. I am a global leader of pharmacy practice research I have influenced and informed practice globally, sharing learnings and best practice and raising the profile of the ground-breaking innovative work of pharmacy across the UK.

I represent RPS on FIP council and am a trustee of the Commonwealth Pharmacists Association and a fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health.

I am running for the board election with a view to completing my term as president to implement  the constitution and governance review and start the work of the UKPPLAB.
