From this September, NHS staff will be able to apply for virtual masterclasses in leadership and digital at Imperial College London, Harvard Medical School and the University of Edinburgh, as part of a new programme to equip NHS employees with the skills needed to drive digital innovation.
The NHS Digital Academy is part of the NHS’s plan to simplify access to care online and ensure hospitals make the most of emerging digital technology.
The Academy will support the existing ‘Building a digital ready workforce’ programme, delivered in partnership by NHS Digital, Health Education England and NHS England.
