How to use the PJ app

First launched in 2013, The Pharmaceutical Journal app has been an essential resource for many members of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) for the past ten years.

Our latest update to the app provides a streamlined way to access all of our content from your phone, while offering even greater protection to your personal data.

How to log in

When you open the app, you will be asked for your login details. These are your email address and password that you use to log in to the PJ website. This is the same for both RPS members and PJ subscribers.

If you are an RPS member and your email/password combination does not work, go to The Pharmaceutical Journal website at https://pharmaceutical-journal.com/ and sign in using the ‘Log in with RPS’ option:

Then, return to the PJ App and tap on the ‘Forgot your password?’ option. This will send you an email with a link to re-enter your password on The Pharmaceutical Journal website. Please click on the link and enter your password on The Pharmaceutical Journal website. You do not need to enter a new password; just re-enter your existing password, and save.

If your existing password is not accepted at this step, don’t worry, this is just an added security feature. Try adding a couple of special characters (for example, @, ! or %) to the end of your existing password, and save.

When you have entered and saved your password on The Pharmaceutical Journal website, return to the PJ App and log in with your email address and password.

If you are an RPS member and you are not sure which email address you use to log in to your RPS account, get in touch with the RPS membership team at membership@rpharms.com.

If you are a subscriber and your email/password combination does not work, please contact The Pharmaceutical Journal support team at pharmpress-support@rpharms.com.

The app will remember your login details for a period of time, but you will need to log in periodically for security reasons.
