Applications open for the 2017 Royal Pharmaceutical Society Science Award

Scientists in the early stages of their research careers are invited to apply for the 2017 Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Science Award.

The competition is open to those working in pharmaceutical (or allied) disciplines, who have up to ten years of experience at post-doctoral level. Applications are welcome from scientists worldwide, and it is not necessary to be a member of the RPS. The award aims to recognise independent researchers whose published work shows “outstanding promise”.

The winner will receive a commemorative award and £1,000 in prize money. They will also be invited to present the RPS Award Lecture on their work at the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences International PharmSci Conference. The conference will take place at the University of Hertfordshire on 5–7 September 2017.

Applications close on 31 May 2017. Details of how to apply may be found on the RPS website.
