Local practice forum event: The EU Falsified Medicines Directive

Local practice forum event, ‘The EU Falsified Medicines Directive — Implications for the Dispensing of Medicines’. Kidlington Football Club, Yarnton Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AT (near Oxford).

Event begins at 7.30pm on Thursday 22 February, with refreshments from 7pm. The event will finish at approximately 8.45pm.

Sue Kilby, chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s (RPS) Industrial Pharmacists Forum, will be present to introduce this interactive session where Bernard Naughton, PhD candidate at Keele University and researcher at the University of Oxford, will present his work regarding the impact of the falsified medicines directive on the dispensing of medicines. The meeting will be chaired by Ian G Simpson MBE FRPharmS FFRPS DMS, member of the RPS Thames Valley Steering Group and chair of the RPS Retired Pharmacists’ Group.

Attendees will be invited to participate in a Q&A at the end of the talk, and are welcome to post questions ahead of the event on the RPS website (Thames Valley LPF page).

This meeting is open to non-members, and both members and non-members are able to register via the RPS website.
