Video launched to help pharmacists improve relations with GPs

GP talking to pharmacist

The Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) has joined forces with the forum pharmacyTALK to publish a video which aims to give advice to community pharmacy teams on how they can improve relationships with local GP practices.

PSNC members Rosie Taylor and Zainab Al-Kharsan discuss how to use the ‘Walk in my shoes’ toolkit – a resource intended to help pharmacy and GP teams better understand each other’s roles – and to understand why working with GPs is important. They also highlight a number of materials available for community pharmacy teams to use in developing relationships with their local GP practices.

The video is the latest in the monthly #PSNCtalk series which aims to help those who work in community pharmacy by sharing guidance and offering advice, as well as making pharmacy staff aware of the vast range of PSNC resources available and where to find them. New videos will be published here on the PSNC website and will also be available from http://pharmacytalk.co.uk.
