RPS elections 2022: Emma Boxer
English Pharmacy Board candidate

I currently work as lead pharmacist of the outpatient department at Sunderland Royal hospital. During my pharmacy career I have also been lucky enough to work in the community pharmacy sector, in academia with the University of Sunderland and now in the hospital sector. I have trained as a Dementia Champion and spend my spare time training dementia friends, working with the NICE adoption and impact panel, and working with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s early career advisory group. Though early in my career, I am dedicated and passionate about pharmacy both as a career and as a profession, I have thoroughly enjoyed any opportunity for quality improvement and advancement within my chosen sectors and I want to be able to carry this attitude forward to the national pharmacy boards, so that I can be an advocate for pharmacists everywhere.
