Royal College of Pharmacy elections 2026: Rose Inyama

Candidate for the National Pharmacy Advisory Council for England

I am a senior clinical pharmacist with extensive experience across primary care, medicines optimisation, and multidisciplinary service delivery. My practice is grounded in evidence-based care, patient safety, and improving outcomes for diverse populations, particularly within complex and underserved communities.

I work closely with GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and allied health professionals to lead structured medication reviews, manage long-term conditions, and reduce medicines-related harm. I have a strong interest in clinical governance, workforce development, and the use of data to improve prescribing quality and system efficiency.

I am committed to professional leadership and policy engagement. I am interested in how the profession can strengthen its voice in health system reform, embed inclusive decision-making, and support practicing pharmacists.

I am seeking nomination to the advisory council to contribute practical frontline insight, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to advancing pharmacy practice for the benefit of patients and the wider health system.
