On 17 February 2026, Michael Burden FRPharmS, aged 87 years, of Loughborough, Leicestershire. Mr Burden registered with the Society in 1965.

I was sad to read of the death of Mike Burden. Our paths crossed at pharmaceutical conferences from student days onwards and it was always a pleasure to meet him and his wife.
Mike was a leader, influencer and supporter of clinical pharmacy services both in Leicestershire and nationally. He hosted the inaugural meeting announcing the formation of UKCPA. He has many achievements to his name and was a lovely man who will be much missed
