Stanislaus (Stan) Thambu de Condappa passed away peacefully at his home in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, after a long illness, on 3 February 2015. Stanislaus graduated from Leicester College’s School of Pharmacy and was appointed a Society member in July 1964.
Stanislaus worked variously as the staff pharmacist at Southend General Hospital, The London Hospital at Whitechapel, as well as a several-year stint in Lusaka, Zambia, among other positions.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years and three children.
