Upcoming RPS conference: ‘How to become a pharmacist in a GP practice’

Pharmacists interested in working as part of a GP team are invited to a one-day conference, ‘How to become a pharmacist in a GP practice’.

The event, which will be held in Leeds on 12 June 2017, is organised by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), and aims to help delegates understand more about the role of a practice pharmacist in a GP surgery.

Speakers include Helen Chang and Beth Ward — pre-Foundation and Foundation programme manager at the RPS, respectively — who will describe the range of RPS professional development support available to those switching to new roles.

The full conference programme and booking form is available on the RPS website. Discounted ‘early bird’ fees are available until 26 April 2017.
