Welsh Pharmacy Board election 2019

The scheme for the 2019 election provides for three places on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Welsh Pharmacy Board for Members or Fellows who work or live wholly or mainly in Wales. The three places are to be allocated as follows:

(a) One place for any eligible Member whose substantive practice is in the community practice employee sector;

(b) One place for any eligible Member whose substantive practice is in the community practice contractor sector;

(c) One place shall be filled by any eligible Member.

In the above context, “substantive practice” is taken to refer to a situation where a pharmacist spends more than 50% of their professional working time in practice in the sector in question. Full details of eligibility criteria are set out at https://www.rpharms.com/about-us/who-we-are/national-boards/boards-elections.
