Hamde Nazar

University of Sunderland, Dale Building, City Campus, Sunderland, SR1 3SDnDr Hamde Nazar MRPharmS PhD is a Senior Lecturer of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Sunderland. Her doctoral expertise focussed upon novel dosage forms for the delivery of peptides and proteins. As a Leader of a Masters Programme and of a Research Methods, and a Clinical Therapeutics module her teaching and academic scope is expansive. Her key research interests in pharmacy practice now include palliative care and cultural competency of healthcare professionals. She works closely with colleagues at other Universities on research projects within these areas. Hamde is a practising pharmacist, working regularly within the community and at a palliative care hospice.
