Nigel Praities is Executive Editor at The Pharmaceutical Journal. He has been a journalist since 2006, writing for publications including Research Fortnight, Pulse magazine and The Guardian newspaper. He has won multiple awards for his work, including twice being named Editor of the Year by the Medical Journalists' Association (2014 and 2017) and also by the British Society of Magazine Editors (2016 and 2015). He was also named as one of the most respected journalists in the UK by the National Council for the Training of Journalists in 2018. Nigel was appointed chair of the Medical Journalists' Association in 2021.
