Royal College of Pharmacy elections 2026: Matthew Prior

Candidate for the National Pharmacy Advisory Council for England

Currently an elected member of both the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Assembly and the English National Pharmacy Board. My full-time role is as the Deputy Director of Pharmacy at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

I have had a unique and varied career working across numerous different systems and roles, both within the NHS and privately, always striving to grow and develop pharmacy and its value within healthcare.

Passionate about pharmacy, my drive for re-election is to continue the fantastic work of the last two years. Passing the vote to become the Royal College of Pharmacy was a good start, but the hard work starts now, and I believe I bring both continuity, innovation and challenge for the betterment of Pharmacy, our people and our patients.

I will work to bring pharmacy closer together, because I believe doing so will unlock our untapped potential, all for the future of Pharmacy.
