RPS elections 2024: Minesh Parbat

I am passionate about inclusive leadership and advocating for our profession and believe that my dedication will bring a dynamic approach to the board.

With extensive experience in senior leadership roles within the NHS, I have spearheaded medicines optimisation projects both strategically and operationally. Currently serving as an ICS chief pharmacist, I am deeply invested in organisational development and fostering collaborative working environments. I have also practiced as an independent prescribing pharmacist, specialising in long-term conditions clinics and conducting structured medication reviews in GP practices. My broad experience expands to having worked in community pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. Alongside my clinical work, I have actively contributed to academia as a visiting lecturer, engaging students in research projects and audit initiatives. Throughout my career, I have lent my expertise to various national and local pharmacy-related committees, aiming to advance our profession. Additionally, I am deeply committed to promoting leadership, equality, diversity, and inclusion across various healthcare disciplines.
