Lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. This cancer affects B cell lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. It is named for the resemblance the abnormal cells have to plasma cells, resulting in them being termed plasmacytoid lymphocytes. The white blood cells are stained purple, with the red blood cells appearing a pale orange.
