RPS elections 2024: Connor Thompson

I am driven by a steadfast commitment to advancing pharmacy practice and promoting optimal patient care. With a strong foundation in both academia and practice, I bring a diverse skill set and a wealth of experiences to the table.

My advocacy for inclusive leadership and mentorship reflects my belief in the importance of fostering a supportive and equitable environment within the profession. If elected, I am committed to leveraging my expertise and collaborative spirit to contribute meaningfully to the Board’s initiatives, driving innovation, and encouraging the advancement of pharmacy for the benefit of patients and communities alike.

As the programme lead for independent prescribing and the academic placement lead, I am acutely aware of the challenges facing us as a profession. I am confident we are heading towards a golden age of pharmacy and want to ensure the RPS is there to support everyone on their professional development journey.
