Joy Daphne Benson (1949–2024)

On 16 April 2024, Joy Daphne Benson, aged 74 years, of Burnley, Lancashire. Ms Benson registered with the Society in 1971.

Joy, who resided in Burnley Lancashire, passed away on 16 April 2024 after many years of debilitating illness, aged 74 years.

Joy studied for her pharmacy degree at Chelsea College, London, in the mid 1960s and had a successful career in community pharmacy for many years until ill-health forced her  to retire from the register in 2006.

She is survived by her husband Tim, children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
