A new suite of web pages to help support members through revalidation has launched on the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) website.

Revalidation is the process by which pharmacy professionals will demonstrate their continuing competence and fitness to practise to the General Pharmaceutical Council. The Society’s revalidation web hub gives an overview of the process, alongside a description of the continuing professional development (CPD) activities that pharmacy staff will be required to complete from September 2018. Example CPD entries are provided.

The website also hosts a recording of the recent RPS webinar, Revalidation: everything you need to know.

The pages signpost to the range of revalidation support provided by the RPS, which includes revalidation roadshows, online learning materials and a regular revalidation newsletter. Members will automatically receive the newsletter by email; non-members can sign up to receive it by registering their details with the RPS website.

The Society’s dedicated Revalidation Support Service can be contacted on 0333 733 2570, or by email at revalidation@rpharms.com.
