Patricia Cooper (1959–2023)

On 14 February 2023, Patricia Cooper MPharmS, aged 64 years, of Aberdeen, Scotland. Ms Cooper registered with the Society in 1982.

I was really saddened to hear of the death of Pat Cooper. Pat and I met at School of Pharmacy of Aberdeen Robert Gordon’s Institute of Technology (now Robert Gordon University) and enjoyed four years as undergraduate pharmacists. I have many happy memories of that time, especially seeing Pat arrive on her moped before lectures and always being fully of good humour!

I was privileged to be Pat’s bridesmaid at her wedding in 1982 and she was mine in 1983. We stayed connected for many years but lost touch relatively recently. 

I would like to pass my heartfelt condolences to Gavin and Pat’s daughters, Jennifer and Jacqueline.
