The Welsh Pharmacy Board has re-appointed Suzanne Scott-Thomas as chair, a post she will hold for two years. Speaking after her re-election, which took place at the Welsh Pharmacy Board meeting on 20 June, Scott-Thomas said, “I know I am in a privileged position to be leading a driven and united board that puts us in a strong position to move forward. I am adamant that we must show ambition and leadership over the next 12 months in order to reach our aims as we serve the membership of the RPS in Wales and aim for the highest standard of pharmaceutical care for patients throughout the country”.
At the same board meeting, Paul Harris was re-affirmed to his post as vice-chair for the next two years. Both Scott-Thomas and Harris will continue to serve as the Welsh Pharmacy Board’s Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Assembly representatives.
