Wes Mountain/The Pharmaceutical Journal
This year, The Pharmaceutical Journal’s Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey contains questions about salary and professional development, as well as a range of issues, including workforce shortages, independent prescribing, designated prescribing practitioners, stress and discrimination.
As we do every year, we will use your responses to inform and inspire editorial content that reflects the reality of pharmacy practice.
If you are currently working as a pharmacist in the UK, in any sector, we would love you to take part in our short survey, which should take no more than ten minutes to complete.
Please click here to participate in the survey.
All eligible respondents (pharmacists practising within the UK) who complete the survey by midnight on 15 May 2025 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £50 John Lewis vouchers.
Responses to the 2024 Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey generated stories on racism and discrimination within the profession, independent prescribing in community pharmacy, the ethnicity pay gap, and stress and burnout.
No personal details will be published or made available to third parties, but the data we collect will be aggregated to help us understand the current employment landscape for pharmacists in the UK and champion positive change in the profession.
Thank you for your participation — we look forward to sharing the results with you.
Please note: Personal data will remain securely held on our systems. We will only contact you regarding the prize draw for this survey, or if you indicate you are happy to be contacted about content arising from this survey or to participate in focus groups.
