Vacancies on our Membership Committee and Panel of Fellows

We’ve got opportunities for Royal Pharmaceutical Society Members and Fellows to help guide and support us in our decision making through our Membership Committee and Panel of Fellows.

There are now vacancies in both of these committees and you’re invited to get involved. We encourage applications from black, Asian, and minority ethnic candidates and people of all abilities to ensure both committees are broadly representative of the profession.

You don’t need to have been qualified for a particular period of time to join the Membership Committee, or have a particular length of service as a Fellow to apply for the Panel. Applications received for the roles will be anonymised to help improve the impartiality of our assessment processes.

Join our Membership Committee

Members help to guide and support our membership by:

• Reviewing non-standard membership applications and existing memberships;
• Reviewing membership applications which may constitute special circumstances;
• Participating in the disciplinary process and delivering an appeals process.

Join our Panel of Fellows

Our Panel of Fellows designates members as Fellows. We aim for inclusion of members from academia, industry, NHS/hospital, primary care and community practice from England, Scotland and Wales.

Members of the Panel of Fellows must be existing Fellows. They should also:

• Be active in the profession;
• Have a wide knowledge of the Society and its membership;
• Be able to make an objective assessment of distinction and leadership in pharmacy and pharmaceutical care among candidates put forward for consideration.
