Tell us about your salary and working conditions

Calling all pharmacists! Please take part in our short survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

This year’s Pharmaceutical Journal Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey contains questions about salary and professional development, as well as a range of issues, including independent prescribing, designated prescribing practitioners, medicines shortages, stress and discrimination.

We will use your responses to inform and inspire editorial content that reflects the reality of pharmacy practice in 2024.

If you are currently working as a pharmacist in the UK, in any sector, we would love you to take part in our short survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.

Please click here to participate in the survey.

All eligible respondents (pharmacists practising within the UK) who complete the survey by Monday 29 April 2024 will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £50 John Lewis vouchers.

This is an annual survey. Previous years’ surveys have generated stories on patient safety risks from medicines shortages, medicines advertised on social media and pharmacist retirement plans.

No personal details will be published or made available to third parties, but the data we collect will be aggregated to help us understand the current employment landscape for pharmacists in Great Britain and champion positive change in the profession.

Thank you for your participation — we look forward to sharing the results with you.

Please note: Personal data will remain securely held on our systems. We will only contact you regarding the prize draw for this survey, or if you indicate you are happy to be contacted to participate in focus groups.
