RPS elections 2022: Andre Yeung
English Pharmacy Board candidate

After studying pharmacy at Sunderland University, I started my career as a community pharmacist working with my father in the family business until 2006.
I then worked for a multiple pharmacy group as an area manager of 29 stores and subsequently started building bespoke pharmacy services for NHS Trusts, the HM Prison Service and private healthcare companies.
In 2015, after undertaking a Master’s in business administration, I launched my own consultancy where I’ve led projects for the PSNC, NHS England, Pharmacy Voice and the Academic Health Sciences Network.
Since 2016, I’ve been chair of the Local Professional Network at NHS England & Improvement where I most famously, co-developed a community pharmacy acute illness service with Mike Maguire, which went on to become the NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (NHS CPCS).
My latest roles are as treasurer at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and chair of the MBA Advisory Board at Durham University.
